LETS SHINE THE SPOTLIGHT ON THE GREENIES.
Thanks to the colder months (hello winter wonderland – don’t burst my bubble, London WILL be beautiful this winter) just around the corner, my immune system is needing a daily kick up the butt to get it set straight. As much as I love the super duper fruity-full of sugar-pink and purple juices, and trust me, I love them, when you add veg into the mix and pump out a somehow natural but ridiculously crazy colourful green juice with a certain ZING of a smell, whats not to love?
Although I confess, Im not a fan of PURE veg juices (eventually ill get used to them….maybe), Ive trialled a fair few combos with the fruit:veg ratio changing it up constantly. The verdict? Mainly veg with a kick of fruit is the most effective to keep your sexy (did i mention you look lovely today? – you’re welcome) in tip top shape… but if you’re looking for more of a sweet taste sensation with the feature colour of kelly green, make sure the fruit is way up above the veg – this will make sure you’re still getting the green goodness but without the initial shock of the lack of natural sugars.
Back to the recipe, try this one out and let me know what you think! Its my current go to in the mornings, and with a tall glass of lemon water its a killer combo to feel fab and fresh – alternatively, totally can be a post workout/yoga rehydration and snack as its so nutrient dense! Just cut up roughly these few ingredients and juice them, serve with ice if thats what tickles your pickle.
(Pickles are also green, just putting it out there)

1/2 small pineapple
small ish stem of ginger
1 cup kale
1/2 cup spinach
1 small lime
1/2 stem celery
(ps, don’t get too green with envy)
